“Beautiful lake house 15 minutes from Colgate. It was the perfect spot to relax with family and celebrate our daughter’s graduation. Right on the lake and perfectly appointed. We had a great time! ”

“We stayed there with my adult children. We all travel frequently for work yet none of us had every stayed in a more inviting and beautiful home as the Country Lodge. It was large enough for us all to have privacy, to have space for cooking, playing games, working out, reading and knitting in front of the fireplace. We also enjoyed walking in their woods to the waterfall in the early evening as the snow gently fell. Then coming home to the warm inviting space the hosts provided us. Our mission……

“Great quiet getaway but just a short drive to anywhere you want to go. Plenty of room for many people to enjoy their time. ”

“Location is really nice, view is super, beds were comfortable. We mostly enjoyed our stay. Probably won't stay again due to few small things that really diminished the overall experience and stress. We could not wash our clothes, big deal for a family packing limited clothes. Washer and dryer look to be from 1982. Electric stove worked but we could never get the pans hot enough to cook food in a timely manner. The dishwasher leaked, it was newer model but we got through that one.Should address……

“Our family stayed here to attend a college graduation nearby. The lake view and vibe were both amazing and peaceful. We were greeted by our hosts, they were very friendly and helpful. The cottage had everything , my sons enjoyed the canoe and paddle boards provided too. The 2nd night, the entire area lost power, we lost water too, that put a damper on the trip..”

“We had a very nice time here, house exceeded my expectations. The lake was beautiful to wake up to, I would bring my coffee out and sit in the chairs provided. Lovely neighborhood for a walk with a nice park down the road. Would come again!”
