“We really enjoyed our time at the Catalonia Royal Tulum. Our expectation for this 4 day trip to the area was to relax and enjoy the time at the beach. This is exactly what we did. Everyone from check in, wait staff, bar tenders, room service and stewards where friendly, polite and went above and beyond. The grounds are well kept and clean. The pool area was great with a swim up bar. The food at the buffet was really good (we never go to an all inclusive expecting great food) and the specialty……

“Whole stay was amazing from end to beginning. Stuff was very efficient and polite. Food buffet was great. Some a la carte restaurants were excellent. There was one serious problem - lack of air conditioning in restaurants.”

“Loved everything about the hotel. The staff, cleanliness, food the only negative is the beach. Water was extremely rough and they’ve blocked off a section that’s safe for swimming but nothing like other beaches I’ve been to. Other than the beach 10/10 experience. ”

“This is the most romantic hotel I have ever been to, It’s so relaxing, Everything is so pretty and it makes you feel connected to the jungle and the sea The only challenging thing was that there Weren’t any lights in the bedroom, which is nice to disconnect and have a different experience, but after two nights with no light it isn’t that much fun. “I like the beauty of the Natural site on the Caribbean Sea. Had a wonderful time until my wife became ill from either the food or the water. I also became ill the last day of the trip which put a sour into our experience.”

“We had an amazing time. Patricia hosted the pool work out and was super sweet. Oviel the bus boy was so helpful and fun. The outdoor steak restaurant was great. We loved everything. The stag was welcoming and wanted clearly to please their guest. The room was so sweet. ”

“We didnt get an upgrade becasue the hotel was fully booked, but we got another amenity instead, which was a great counter offer. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The only thing we were not happy with was the restaurant. There are far better restaurants for dinner in the city which are cheaper and have in our opinion better food. Other than that everything lovely! :) Thanks for making our stay great!”

“This hotel property is gorgeous, with 2 open-air buildings, lush greenery and a beautiful ground floor pool with a swim up bar. The staff is extra helpful and I appreciated the welcoming ceremony upon arrival. However, the area isn’t the safest (compared to the previous hotel I stayed at about 10-15 mins away) because my kids and I were advised to “be back before dark” when we walked to nearby Carls Jr. for dinner one evening. Also my iPad was pickpocketed from my bag while waiting for the tour……

“My family just returned from a week-long vacation at the Mereva and it was absolutely fabulous. The staff were super friendly, attentive and incredibly helpful. The included breakfast was heavenly and generous — from the lattes to the fruit bowls to the myriad ways to order your eggs. The property itself offers a beautiful, secluded boutique resort experience — exactly we wanted. The beds were comfortable, the view from our room was spectacular. “Fantastisk hotel, det er vel 32 rom. Vi hadde rom med sjøutsikt, 3 etasje. Bygget er fordelt med 2 rom nede og 2 oppe. Nydelig rom, men jeg synes begge mine hodeputer var for hardt. I tillegg til senga. Aircondition gikk kun ann å endre temperatur på, ikke hvor i rommet luften skulle. Jeg fikk hoste og luftveisinfeksjon, da hadde vi temp på 26-27 grader på natten. Normalt bruker jeg å sove i 24-25g og aldri fått luftveisinfeksjon. Nydelig hotellrom, og den utsikten til havet. Stranda er……
