"This was a last minute stay since we did not plan on going to Outer Banks. The hotel was one of the few on the beach and located right as you enter Buxton. I chose this hotel because of prior reviews & happy that I did. The room was clean and comfortable and included a small kitchenette. There were a few eating places within walking distance & a very nice grocery store (Conner’s) a quick 3 min drive away "
"Easy check in and super communicative host. Room was perfect size. Only thing I would say is fan in room needs to be included in cleaning process - we could not turn it on as it was very dirty/dusty. Also under bed could be cleaned better as well, as there was some trash. Would definitely stay here again! "

"We loved this property! Don't get me wrong--it's basic, but it does the job. Family of five stayed comfortably for a week and really enjoyed it. There's only one indoor shower, but the outdoor shower works well. The kitchen is stocked well enough though definitely check to make sure they have the pans you need before shopping. If you're looking for comfortable, quiet, functional and super close to the beach this is perfect. It's a nice location--walking distance to a few restaurants, and a quick drive to many others. VERY short walk to a fantastic beach. It never got very crowded and there are several protected areas nearby. Great price for a great location!"
