「This is a beautiful, well-appointed property. The owners were helpful and responsive, and we were treated like old friends. They had great recommendations for activities and dining options. The town of Oriental is quaint and has fun places to go, most within walking distance. The ocean is an hour away. Will definitely stay again!」

「The room was exceptionally clean and the staff were very friendly. The desk clerk, Dan was exceptionally helpful in getting us checked in early as we had an event we had to get to before check-in time. He helped us through our stay in various ways. Also, the breakfasts were wonderful and the service staff were friendly and helpful.」

「Excellent staff! Friendly and gives great advice about what to do in town. Clean rooms. Breakfast was wonderful and quiet. A few things could probably be updated, couch in our room was a little old, but everything was still in good condition. I choose this place over and over again because I always know it will be a great stay. Lots of things to do within the hotel (mini golf, swimming, lounging outside).」

「It was not air conditioning weather, however it did get humid and the air conditioning was hard to control. It would only let us put on the fan. The whole place was nice, clean, and a great family experience. 」

「Everything about the stay was great. Staff in their Steam restaurant at the bar were fantastic. Great service, even during an accidental fire alarm. Breakfast was solid, the cook was terrific. Only complain was the pillows. Not joking, they were way too fluffy, super annoying. 」
