Varn Park Beach Hotels

"Very happy with this stay, I wish every hotel had grounds like this. There is a huge live oak on the grounds and a very nice looking swimming pool that we didn't use. Amazingly peaceful and we loved the screened porch and water features. Yes the inside is dated and shows its age a little, think Golden Girls era, but it was clean and spacious. All the amenities you need are provided, and there are walking trails and bike rentals. It's in a lovely little area with a lot of shaded paths. Overall this was one of my favorite stays. Would definitely return. "

"We had a great stay, really enjoyed this house. You can't beat the view and the house, while starting to show its age, was still comfortable, clean and met all our needs. The pool table and arcade games were a hit and all the beach items we needed were provided and in good condition. If stairs are not your thing, this is not your house. But I'd happily climb them for that view. "

"Loved all the amenities! Had a great time playing, foosball, pickle ball and ping pong. Spa and pool were definitely used, too. The kitchen was very well equipped with everything we needed. "

"“Location, location, location…” was our 1st priority. Initially, we spent weeks searching from the Gulf’s Panhandle, the western side Tampa Southward down 2 the Keys & then northward. 2nd, we have physical mobility limitations & needed 2 avoid short term rentals with stairs. We need level access & close 2 the beach. 3rd, we purposely wanted 2 avoid the noise of crowds, screaming kids & “touristy” locations. 4th We knew up front whatever we did was going 2 be expensive & any travel 2 a few attractions would be trying & we’d have 2 suck it up. This was the place for us. The Sea Forever Cottage seemed like the right place but we picked the wrong time of year, late February. Mother Nature did not cooperate giving us cloudy cool days with limited sun so we spent a lot of downtime between excursions, recuperating inside binge watching TV. From the very 1st day we had some security concerns. We weren’t able 2 secure & lock the front door. The weather takes its toll on these barrier island properties. The iTrip agency folks were quick 2 respond along with the very nice owners who live just upstairs. Their maintenance staff took care of the door problem when another problem cropped up that could be both a wider safety & fire concern. We could not brew coffee on our K-cup & toast a bagel at the same time. It seems the single pole 15 amp circuit breaker (CB) was not only loose but under rated in the home’s load center. The kitchen’s GFIC’s CB’s functioned as intended but "

"Wonderful stay. The hot tub was a godsend on a cold couple days. Yard and yard game were great to have. We even caught a fish big enough to eat. Beach was beautiful and a nice short walk. "

"The host, Ben, was great. Attentive & friendly. The location is 5 star! Beautiful sunrises and sunsets from the decks and Kitchen, DR, and Lr. Right on the secluded beach, steps from the house- yet close to Flagler beach shops etc. Pet friendly. Fabulous amenities including the soaps, lotions, plentiful towels, comfy beds, all the pot, pans, dishes etc you’ll need, outdoor furniture and fire pit, washer/dryer and kids games. why not 5 stars?? No TV in ocean view guest BR. Don’t recommend for seniors or those with balance/mobility issues: Driveway very steep/difficult to walk on or load/ unload/park more than 1 car. BRs are up steep, narrow stairs with uneven tread heights. "

"We loved our stay here! 4th time visit and so happy we found this little rental, perfect for a couple. Beach is beautiful and location to town and site-seeing is great. We got to see a whale pass by this year and we saw dolphins almost every day. Can't wait to come back next year."
