「Gorgeous, peaceful setting in the middle of nowhere, which is exactly what we were looking for. We wanted to get away from it all, and Maria and Randy provided that opportunity. The house has been renovated beautifully, and someone has some great taste! I love all the green tones, wood, brick, and...oh, the velvet!Although the house is wonderful, including a full-stocked, high-end kitchen, I admit that I most sitting by the river and playing Frisbee with my family, as well as my solo strolls...

「This was our fourth trip to the river house. This time we went to celebrate my granddaughter who turned 13 and my daughter who turned 30. It was a wonderful week full of fun, adventure, hiking, swimming/playing in the river, s’mores, food and games. This is the absolute best place in the world for quality family time. This place really feels like home. 🥰」

「1 night stay during road trip. House was great, everything you need. Yard a little small for our dog, but we were able to walk her around the neighborhood. Since we were only stopping thru, didn't see much of the area, but the mountain views walking around were stunning. We were there during a heat wave, but house was cool and comfortable. Appliances are top notch, kitchen very well stocked. TV viewing choices were best in any VRBO we've stayed in...every channel/premium channel you could ask...

「Great attention to detail. Hosts left extra surprises (including fresh flowers!!!) and provided everything we would need for our stay. The flat was clean, private/quiet, and communication and checking in and out were a breeze. Would definitely stay here again! 10/10!」

「The home was lovely and I have never seen a VRBO so well stocked with anything you might need. Everything was provided. The creek is a soothing sound and the dogs just loved the yard! Close to some great trails. Very gracious hosts.」

「We had an amazing time! We loved our stay at this he in Covington, Va.The home is right on the river. Access was easy. Super peaceful. While we had neighbors, it was very private and a very large and secluded large lot. The home was very clean, comfortable and had everything we needed!We loved the location. We kayaked on the Jackson River and the James river. We fell in love with Lake MooMaw. The lake was simply stunning. Places to swim and hike. We regretted not kayaking there. We also...

「We stayed at this property for the 2025 Washington and Lee graduation. It was the perfect choice because it provided a place to relax with grandparents and our family. The property and house was magnificent with great views of the mountains. The house was spacious and just made you feel at home. The hosts were responsive but not intrusive. Our only regret is that we did not find this property sooner in our 4 years worth of travel back and forth to Lexington. 」
