“Great quiet location. The cabin is perfect for an intimate couples retreat. Our dogs loved the stream and abundant green space to play. There is another cabin that is situated close so it is not completely private. Also, the road to get to Boone/ Blowing Rock/trails/etc. is very long and windy. It Takes 15 minutes to get to and from the main road. So it takes a good 30minutes to get to where you might want to go.”

“We enjoyed the layout of the house for the size of our group.Enjoyed the large screened in porch, front porch with rockers and the hot tub. It was very near to Boone and Blowing Rock which was a real plus! Host was generous with snacks, coffee and kitchen was well equipped! Our teenage boys were a little disappointed that the pool table sticks were not usable with no felt on the tips. They did use the ping pong tabletop and enjoyed that. Was not aware there was no central air. The house seemed……

“This was a beautiful property! Amazing views, well- stocked kitchen. Plenty to keep young ones occupied. I wish the game room had air-conditioning. We did not use the hot tub but the set up for it was beautiful. I love that the wrap-around deck was completely gated! Great for children and pets! Would definitely return to this property in the future.”

“Had an awesome time at this beautiful, well kept cabin. Did as owner suggested and screen shot emails with gate codes/key lock box codes and directions, had absolutely no trouble at all getting in! AWD/4wheel high gear was VERY HELPFUL, road up to cabin is graveled as stated & 4wheel high helps to crawl up the steep areas without spinning out or tearing up road. All essentials were there with many thoughtful touches! Rocking chairs were stored inside but could move out to deck easily for morning……
