“Lovely quirky rooms, decour a little tired but you get what you pay for, we have stayed at many 5 star hotels but we're very happy with this one because the food and atmosphere were great, the land lady Mel never seemed to stop working and always cheerful, an ideal place in the lovely town of Woburn and a great centre for visiting many places, ideal place for down to earth people.”

“Extremely noisy and unable to sleep until well past 23.30 hrs when the bar shut. Even after that, water noises and pipes rattling. The location was good for our purpose of visit and rooms were decent with tea/coffee and a good size towel provided. Aside from the noise, the lack of Reception staff and communication between management and Reception/cleaning staff needs to drastically improve! My daughter,a student in London, stayed the night before we arrived and arranged WITH MANAGEMENT via email……

“Staff were helpful enough and breakfast was decent but it's a very tired hotel. That said, it's well located and everything worked as it should.”

“In fact, it surprised me a lot. The staff was the boy at the bar table. He was busy but helped me to check in as possible as he could. My room was larger than I imagined. Bed was tidy and clean. The fragrance of the cover proved it was substituted. The hotel was close to TKmark, Subway and MacDonald. 5 mins walk to the underground station. The bar on the first floor made few noise but could't disturb my sleeping. Anyway, if you find a bed for one night I would recommend this hotel for you. For……

“Need take a bus and walk few mins to get the hotel, The room is very clean and comfortable, room is not big but bathroom is. There are only three rooms provided with a very village bar on the ground floor, also it is the reception desk for you. The served breakfast is big size with toast, pastry, jam, cream, cearels with hot tea or coffee. Not sure if can choose hot british breakfast or need to pay for it in the bar. overall is good with nice staff if you want to have a quiet vacation in a nice……

“Very nicely furnished room, well equipped with everything I needed and a few things I didn't. Air conditioning was a bonus in the current heat wave. Staff helpful and friendly. Breakfast and evening meals were good. Plus it is very convenient for Duxford IWM.”
