「It was a last minute booking to the lakes and we chose such a lovely hotel to stay with lake view on the top floor with climbing all the steps . Room was very comfy, bathroom clean, breakfast fabulous most importantly the staff were very helpful at all times. 」

「Amazing stay at a beautiful property. Just off the Coast to Coast walk, this hotel was a perfect place to recover from a long walk. And the all-day tea/coffee and scones was a lifesaver. The rooms were nice and the food was delicious. Could not recommend more. They even had a place to fill up water bottles/bladders next to a gear drying room, which was a nice touch. 」

「Fantastic staff, excellent breakfast, super parking, very clean modern room, free WiFi, Netflix and prime TV, good bed, in room tea & coffee with biscuits, to take good to great would be the addition of a blackout blind to the room window & a shelf / surface in the ensuite to put toiletries on.」

「Mainly stayed for Keswick Convention. Walkable distance from Base Camp and Main Tent at Skiddaw Street. It's quiet and near a scenic view from a river nearby. The lawn of the Hotel brings rabbits and relaxing atmosphere to guests. Friendly staff and great self-served breakfast. A good balance of price and service. Will definitely visit again.」
