「The sheets were clean. There were new lampshades.
But the surfaces that were cleaned had cleaner residue, and any non-essential surface had not been cleaned in years. The lamps themselves had SOOO much fly poop, and their switches were sticky. The hairdryer looked like it had sat beside a deep fryer for six months. The countertop was so cracked that it was supported by a 2x4 so it didn't fall off the wall.
But it was a place to sleep. And it didn't have bedbugs.」

「Hotel is loud -
Thin wall steel construction - every time a room door shut we heard a loud bang that echoed throughout.
I'm a BonVoy rewards member and I did not like that we were put in one hallway with dog owners; heard dogs barking every night we stayed there.」
