“This Whidbey Island home is an impeccable location for a family vacation. Amazing access to a private beach on the Admiralty Inlet with clear views of the Olympic mountains. The home is well equipped for eating in, enjoying a movie night, playing board games, and just soaking in the views. We appreciated the EV charging capability and the yard space for our dog while visiting. The location is well positioned to visit Langley, the Meerkerk gardens, wineries and Coupeville! “We were looking for a place to relax and also serve as homebase while we visited Whidbey Island. Although it is at the southern end of the island this worked out perfectly. The quiet setting and neighborhood was a great place to be at and return to. The nearby beach had much to see and was easy to access. The bald eagles kept an eye on us as new folks in town. The house is well outfitted, we prepared dinners and breakfasts easily for 4. Relaxing in the hot tub afforded great views of the Sound……

“We spent the weekend in this hidden gem, full of charm! Beautiful views of the water off the deck with water access (149 steps leading down to be exact). Rooms were inviting and very cozy Gorgeous setting and the perfect jumpoff place to explore the island. Located right by Meerkerk Gardens. One thing to note: the king size bed on a platform is quite high to get in. Communication with owners was excellent! Would love to stay again and highly recommend!”

“We loved the inside of the house. Perfect for our getaway. As a Navy vet myself we absolutely loved the Navy fighter jets flying over. Watched them all evening. The Naval Air station is also a beautiful base. Close to ferry to go to Port Townsend. Cute downtown Coupville with the history of Practical Magic being filmed there. We also loved Port Townsend! Don’t forget to check that town out. So much to see and do around here that you could easily stay for a week or two or more!!!! Coming back to……

“We loved our stay on this property it was clean well cared for and the view is amazing. I have stayed many places on Whidbey and this by far had the most wonderful view of both sunrise and sunset. The wildlife amazing. The quite amazing. Beds are the foam type, water pressure excellent and a full kitchen.”

“Whidbey is a wonderful island. Enjoyed our visit with relatives in nearby Greenbank and appreciated the fenced yard for our dog. Easy drive as highway is close but quiet and peaceful in the house except when jets are flying! Husband enjoyed seeing the F 18’s land and take off. “Colorful Cottage on Good Beach Lane was a perfect spot for me (82yr), daughter (40+), and granddaughter (11yr) to relax, get cozy on the couches, watch movies on the big screen TV, and sit on the porch and watch working boats of the shellfish company that had a boat launch nearby. The cottage was clean and had all the amenities we needed. We hope to return for another stay to again enjoy the serene scenery.”

“Very cute a-frame in pleasant neighborhood, home is totally private as it is surrounded by beautiful trees and shrubs. Home is very clean and well organized, lots of amenities and I loved that there was no tv though the boys grumbled a little at first (they ended the trip saying it was nice to not have the tv)! Super quick drive to Maxwelton beach. Host is very attentive and kind. Would highly recommend this property if you’re staying on Whidby!”
