“The cottage is cute, comfortable and clean. Sitting outside is wonderful with the beautiful view of the lake and the plentiful birds in the area. We love the simplicity and natural beauty of Croton and Hardy dams and the nearby Muskegon river, trails and town of Newaygo. “Parents and two adult children stayed in the eagles nest. We stayed upstairs and our boys had the entire downstairs to themselves. It was clean and had recent updates. The host Christine is on site snd responded whenever we had a question. She was great! The entire grounds have recent updates and are well kept. Even the beach had been raked when we arrived. We rented a pontoon boat from Christine and were able to enjoy the entire lake. Enjoyed the hot tub, swam, built a fire. Nice mix of sun……
