「Gordon House was absolutely lovely and even better than expected! So spotlessly clean, beautifully furnished and tastefully decorated. Anne the owner was such a lovely, delightful lady, at breakfast she was friendly, kind and considerate to all of the guests and nothing was too much trouble. The full English breakfast cooked by her husband was just perfect and there was a good selection of cereals, fruit, yoghurts and other options available on request. 「My mother stayed in a room last night, I parked for a while but was told it must be a short stay, but I was rudely told ‘if you don’t move your vehicle soon I will have to fine you’ my mother has stayed in the hotel many times & use to be a regular . 」

「You have to pay for internet in room, I was lucky they upgraded me , but my so called internet room is just a room happen to receive signal from the lobby. The staffs are great and kind, room is old. Carpark is 5 pound per night, walk 10 Mins to town 15 mins to pier and beach. Check in time is crazy 4pm and check out time is 10am , late check out at 11am is 10 pounds extra. Personally I can't stand of it, but didn't know until I got there. 」

「my family just wanted a cheapish bed for the night. It was how we imagined - as the building is quite old and full of history ! It was clean and had a shower - no towels, but we had our own. AS the building is probably nearly 100 years old it is s quite out dated, but a good experience. Even had the old baskset type lift to go up stairs ! Makes a change from modern. Gives a taste of what life used to be like 60 years or so. No complaints」

「It’s cheap for a reason the carpets are thread bare the sockets in room loose with broken plug pins stuck in them people sat in corridors and on stairs could here them talking all through the night but after all this it was clean」
