Called the host several times, no answer and voice mail was full. As I was walking the property another family showed up they had checked in the day before. While getting on the phone with vrbo the owner showed up and discovered that he had double booked. I am still waiting on his cancellation of my reservation and the return of my money...

「I would book this room for the shower alone (Amazing), but it's a just-right room with a fridge, microwave, & Keurig coffee maker. Decent TV with decent streaming options. You also can't go wrong being across the street from Captain Jacks for dinner and a safe stumble back. Very close to the pit-stop and other restaurants as well! Great for anyone visiting the bluffs, going fishing, or just gettin' away for a bit.」

There was so much space for a big family. Although we stayed there during the winter, we we're still able to enjoy indoor family game time. 「The perfect weekend get away. The home is beautiful, cozy and clean. The host was super thoughtful and left personal touches related to our stay during the 2024 exlipse, including glases to watch the eclipse with. We spent our weekend hanging out on the dock fishing, watching the array of ducks, herons and swans swim in the inlet and enjoying a lakeside fire in the evening.
