“Getting seated for breakfast was a task on our first day. We waited about 30 mins to be seated.”

“The front-desk and restaurant staff were professional, courteous and very helpful. Particularly Sonita who is an excellent local ambassador for tourism in Barbados.”

“The staff here is amazing! Very helpful and very friendly! The breakfast was tasty and the room was very clean. The view from the hotel is beautiful and the hotel is in St. Lawrence gap which is close to many restaurants, nightlife and events.”

“The location and amenities of the Plum Tree make this place a special and amazing place to experience Barbados. I love the location and I love the homey feel of the units. I have stayed there several times and have recommended it to others. I feel peaceful there. The pool area is wonderful.”

“​We stayed here during the slow season, so the property was very quiet and peaceful, and the resident peacocks were an absolute gem that added a unique charm to the place. We ran into a few maintenance issues during our stay—including low shower pressure, a weak toilet flush, an unheated hot tub, and no lights in the pool—but when we notified the staff, they immediately offered to move us to a different room. We admittedly declined because we were already unpacked and settled in, but the staff……

“Hébergement correct bien qu’un peu vieillot. Grande chambre avec un très grand lit, une cuisine bien équipée et une salle de bain avec dressing et table et fer à repasser. En revanche, le personnel de l’hôtel est très jeune et un peu léger sur le service. Excepté la réceptionniste de nuit et une présente un matin. Le service du petit déjeuner est très long près d’une heure d’attente pour un poisson frit et une omelette.”

“Ocean view room was lovely and unobstructed. Clean room and property. Quiet and relaxing hotel. Breakfast was quite good. ”

“Staff was friendly and helpful. Our room was comfortable and clean with a beautiful view. The walls are thin as we could hear the person next to us coughing as if we were in the same room. The hotel is undergoing renovations and the parts of the hotel we saw look very nice. ”

“Everything was excellent. Friendly staff and very relaxing vibe and entertainment. Beach front nice but not ideal for swimming. Pools were great and bar service was amazing. All restaurants were unique especially Oro which was tantalizing. Will be back again. Love Barbados 🇧🇧”

“Chambre confortable mais mal isolé si notre porte donne sur la route. Piscine et plage parfaite. Malheureusement pas d'ascenseur, compliqué de trouver quelqu'un qui veut bien aider”

“I was given a horrible room on ground floor looks like it was flooded in recent weeks..sheets dingy and even had stains..I complained they said I paid for basic. I was going to look for another hotel but then they moved me to a better room. Breakfast was also not worth the price poorly prepared. Would not go back!”

“Melbourne Inn is an excellent hotel. It was  comfortable,  clean, relaxing, convenient, memorable, and welcoming. The front desk staff  were pleasant, helpful,  polite,  reliable ,  respectful, and informative. Also, our compliments to the chef on making an amazing omelette.  We will definitely make it our accommodation of choice on our next visit.”
