“Good: The hotel is well located and impressive in its public areas. All the staff are friendly and polite The breakfast is very good Not so good: The room itself was not too impressive. The room was stuffy, safe didn’t work, and the shower was a trickle. Overall location 10 out of 10 so if you are out and about exploring York all day and arriving/departing by train it would be good choice. If you want to relax in your room then I would recommend a different room category or another hotel. ”

“Beautiful hotel and very nice bathroom, bed was comfortable. Quiet environment and around 20 mins walk to city centre. Only thing is we have big luggage but there is no lift.”

“I love the design of the Indigo hotels and this one is no different. Staff very friendly. Location good with lots of bars, restaurants and independent shops nearby. (The Spanish restaurant across the road is really friendly as we popped in for a glass of fizz. ) would definitely recommend it ”

“A nightmare experience lived in this hotel, this hotel need to contact the staff after 4 pm check-in, you can only contact a phone number, we did not have a phone number in the UK, so we need to find someone on the street to contact the staff, finally we could contact the staff, with a very bad attitude with impolite words spoke to us, never book this hotel especially for foreigners!”
