“Comfortable stay with pleasant sea view. Only trouble was once the windows became steamed up, from using the shower or indeed just a nights sleep it became more difficult to see the sea. The windows couldn't be opened so couldn't clear the windows naturally. All staff were very welcoming and having been persuaded to go for the hotel breakfast it was a great choice. Very happy with that. Location was excellent, just a short walk into shops and restaurants. Uphill on the way back !!”

“Staff are vey attentive, polite and respectful. It is a very relaxing place to stay, peaceful, beautiful and clean throughout the Hall. Rooms are a very good size and very clean. We never tried the restaurant but if the standard of meals from the bar/grill, which we had, are anything to go by, I have no doubt they will also be delicious. Breakfast excellent range of choice and again delicious. We have previously had afternoon tea here and Highly recommend it and also staying here. Great stop……

“My girlfriend and I really enjoyed our recent stay in Whitby at "The Endeavour" Pub/Hotel. The atmosphere there was excellent and all the staff we met were very friendly and helpful, and made us feel very welcome. The fact that there was a proper pub on-site which served real ales and had live music performances taking place each of the evenings we were staying there was also a really great added bonus, as well as the fact that the whole place seemed to be really clean and tidy from top to……

“Lovely friendly welcome and very attentive. Rooms are in the middle of being decorated however that doesn't detract from the comfort or amazing views. Good location for the train station 🙂 Liked the pack in the room with the story of Beggar's Bridge, we had a walk down to it after a delicious breakfast and ended up carrying along through the woods. ”
