「We had a wonderful stay in this house. It had everything we needed and was very clean and nice. The host was very responsive and helpful. We loved the pool and hot tub. It was a short walk to the beach over a little sand dune. Great for a large family or group of friends. Beautiful house and location. 」

「I was very unhappy with this condo, and the whole trip. Number one, this room is advertised as oceanfront- it is not - it overlooks a campground, the ocean is off in the distance. 2 - is was not that nice for the money - the kitchen was dated and the fridge was rusty on the side and it wasn’t very clean. And the biggest problem was we got kicked out because of Hurricane Erin. Resort realty told us we had to leave because of a mandatory evacuation, so we only had one day and had to pack up...

Bonner Bridge is one of North Carolina's most well known man-made structures of it's kind (The Linn Cove Viaduct on the Blue Ridge Parkway is probably the most well known). This location makes for a great getaway at the Outerbanks to spend an entire day (and night). The location is popular for fishing and is ideal for landscape and astro photography. You can have lots of fun on some of the dunes, although getting the sand out afterwards is a big hassle. This is one of my favorite images from this location. I love the warm light tones and the shadows that create a contrast in the foreground sand. It is created from a single exposure with only minor modifications made to adjust overall contrast and brightness. If you are interested in wildlife, the Pea Island Wildlife Refuge is nearby and is a very popular location.
