「Within walking distance of 6 beaches. Easy uber access to local attractions. Clean, comfortable and friendly. Grocery store and fresh fruit/ veg market across the street. 」

「Clean, very modest hotel along a road that is quite busy (noisy) during traffic time. Staff very kind and accommodating. On site coffee shop (Ticoffee) offers an interesting menu.」

「I've stayed at the Hotel Guanacaste for 15 years - the only times i have not is when they haven't had a room available- it's my preferred local. It's not a fancy place, but it suits my needs. It is very close to the bus stations and dining choices 」

「Just for one night it was ok. A unique property where our super basic room was in an old barn. No air conditioning but two fans. Shared bathrooms. Our host Andrea wss awesome.」

「The location was perfect. The rooms were clean. The air conditioner worked perfectly. The beds were comfortable. The breakfast that was included had great choices. I would definitely come here again. 」

「The staff at this hotel were very friendly and welcoming. They lent us umbrellas for us to use while we stayed there because of the weather conditions. They gave us information on the best places to eat and made us feel at home. While the hotel is not a luxury resort, I was pleasantly surprised how big the hotel room was. It had a separate kitchen and couch and the outside patio was very large with furniture and a hammock. Will definitely stay again if we make it back to Costa Rica. 」

「Absolutely loved the property! It was so key to have three bedrooms and three bathrooms, so our son and daughter didn't have to share. It was amazing having our own private pool which all of us enjoyed every day. We sat on the patio at night and listened to the waves and even grilled out one night. We had a fabulous view of the ocean and even saw monkeys below us in the trees. Thankfully we were told before we came that we should probably rent a car because there really isn't anything walkable...
