"Everything was perfect! All of the staff was very kind and helpful! The food options were a little scarce but very enjoyable for a quick snack. The location is beyond perfect since it’s very centric and near good places in Tromsø 🙌 Every time I came back from a tour outside in the cold, I felt the warmth and comfort of the hotel. Totally recommend. "

"This was my 2nd time to Tromso,the last being in November of last year. On both occasions I chose a Clarion Hotel, two next to each other. Whilst this one did not have views from the rooms looking out to the Artic Cathedral this did not matter. The hotel was only a few steps away from the harbor. Whilst all the staff I met were very welcoming the young female Filipino on the front desk went the extra mile sourcing a plug to fit my uk items. She is a credit in providing excellent customer service...

"Stayed here for 2 nights in a superior double and everything met our expectations. The room was spacious and breakfast very good. In the evening a light evening meal was provided which was a welcome surprise consisting of soup salad cheeses and hams juices coffee and delicious fresh bread, very good! I would definitely recommend a stay at the Thon Tromso!"

"Hotel in great location and good sized room. Small gym and sauna on site. The restaurant wasn't open during our stay however we were provided with breakfast and dinner at the Clarion Hotel directly opposite so wasn't a big inconvenience. "

"We enjoyed our stay very much. The location was super convenient. The room was very nice. The breakfast buffet was amazing!! Our only issue was that the room was not always restocked with cups and such. And there was a couple days that we didn't have the cleaning crew didn't come in and do the whole turnover. But, overall the hotel was clean and we would stay there again!"

"This hotel is in a very central location. It is in a walking distance to everything. You may need to take a bus to only to the cable car. It provides all the needed amenities at a decent price. The font desk staf is very friendly. The only shortcoming is their breakfast. It has very limited choices. Overall, I would recommend this hotel to anybody given its value."

"Multiple options to get to and from the airport. We got in late so we took a taxi was about $40 for a family of 4. There is a shuttle that goes to or near most of the hotels we took that back to the airport it was about $25. The hotel is convenient to most of the city center. Nothing was more than a few blocks away. Especially if you have tours booked liked we did. The room was spacious, which was nice since we were there for 4 nights. Great breakfast, lots of options. Definitely worth...

"Amazing location surrounded by mountains and seas. Staff are friendly and responsive. Clean rooms and facilities. Only downside is hard to get to without rental car, so must factor into cost. Otherwise, great experience not to be missed when in and around Tromsø"

"Very clean and comfortable property. Location is a little out of the city centre however excellent bus connection to central Tromsø every 10 minutes. Access to hotel is through the University of Northern Norway Hospital. Overall enjoyed the 3 night stay. "

"Solo traveler. My stay was great. The room was small but it had everything I needed. The bed was so comfortable just perfect. The location was in the middle of everything. Ideal. I walked everywhere. So happy I chose this place for my four days in Tromso. "

"Our stay was great. The apartment was clean and modern. Very convenient to have a kitchenette and washing machine. The place is above a great bakery, several grocery stores and other restaurants nearby. A bus stop is right there as well. We thought it was a great value for what we got. Only problem was the check -in, we never received the key box code, but a staff member came out and got us the keys."

"What a beautiful apartment and the views are incredible! The host is very helpful and we had great conversations with him. The sauna was really nice to enjoy on a rainy day. It's very close to Tromsø so it was a perfect place for us to stay for the night. "
