“Great for families with kids”

“This place is very dirty and smelly the rugs are very old and smells very bad . Hallway is very dirty and stinks .”

“It's Dumpy. Don't trust the nice online pictures of the pools and rooms. Check in was a nightmare, because you cannot park and check in. If you park up front an employee comes out and yells at you. There are 4 levels in the parking ramp, but 2 are being used by the construction crews doing the remodeling. There is little parking on site but don't worry, you can park off site and still be charged the same parking fee. We had a suite for 6 people. The room had 3 towels/washcloths, and it……

“I didn't like the fact that I had to pay for wifi, most resorts offer free wifi with your stay. The room and bathroom was so small and out of date, I will never stay there again. The only good thing was I could take my dog, and to be honest, that was the only reason I chose them, because of the pet policy. But I had several other options but with West Gate being a well known name, I thought the accommodations would have been better. You live and learn, and trust me I have learned, never again!”

“Nice place to stay at at a decent price compared to other properties. Clean rooms with open floor plan with plenty of amenities like you were at home. Id recommend it and would stay here again, also it's a bonus how it's setup to have all available rooms ocean view with balcony.”

“The rooms were clean but they smelled old. It wasn’t a welcome clean if that makes sense. The floors weren’t vacuumed and the ac unit looked very old. I felt there was mold in the room but couldn’t find it because it was probably under the carpet. The staff was very nice and helpful. I would probably stay again but they would have to get new carpet and ac units.”

“The property was in a good location with easy beach access. There was a lot of fun things for the kids to do as well. We had a 1st floor room and I had to wake up every morning and kill all the cockroaches in the kitchen before the rest of my family got up and saw them. We had to chase after the staff to replace our towels every day and it was very loud at night as well.”
