“We stayed here 30 years ago and it was great to be back in beautiful Paarl. New owners are very friendly and so helpful... their little doggie snowy so sweet. Its a listed building and having breakfast in the old part of the house is so cool. That is a true South African breakfast. Delicious. Never tasted a eggs bennie that good.”

“Friendly welcome, great location, we only had an overnight stay, but guesthouse is in walking distance to shops. restaurants and the beach, I could see myself sitting by the pool in summer! We asked for an early, light breakfast, which was given to us and just what I wanted!”

“Rooms was clean and comfortable. Was close to the restaurant and swimming pool. Was very quiet and peaceful. Nice for strolling around the grounds. We enjoyed the venue. Had a nice breakfast at the restaurant next to the pool and a great lunch in the restaurant at the hotel.”

“It was a magical few days.. the setting was amazing and the little lambs were so cute… just so very peaceful.. The house had everything you needed and so beautifully done … We are definately going back !!”

“Great property. The entey road is a dirt road however at the property there was paved parking near the apartment. The apartment was spacious . It had netflix and prime . The kitchen had the basic cooking utensils and full sized fridge/freezer along with washing up liquid. Bathroom was a decent size and had towels included. They had cleaners come in regularly to deep clean the apartment”

“Really stunning apartment but there is always room for improvement. The aircon did not work in both the lounge and bedroom so it was a bit uncomfortable. Parking around the Manhattan is also a bit of a challenge. The bed was creaky and slightly dated. Other than that it was great experience, smooth easy process from booking to checking out.”

“Very good hospitality. A kitchen everyone could use, which was separate to the rooms. The rooms were spacious and clean. We loved the getaway and the toddler enjoyed herself as well. Roger, who is one of the staff, was very helpful and also great with assisting in anything we needed with a speedy service. The guesthouse is also in walking distance to the beach and to the shops. Which is very convenient. Will definitely use their accommodation again. ”
