The hosts, Lindy and David were very friendly, interesting conversationalists who provided nice touches like a bottle of champagne, delicious cheese plate with accompanying nuts, dried apricots and crackers and very enticing pinot noir and chardonnay options for pre dinner. Breakfast was hearty and fresh and wandering through the gardens in early autumn was good for the soul. We will return again - and book all 4 spacious rooms for a weekend away with friends. "Amazing experience, very tranquil and cozy. We didn’t even realise other guests were at the property until our second day of our stay, very quiet and private. Plenty to do within 5-10 minute drive or also lovely just to stay at the camp site and relax. Everything you need for cooking also, as well as all the creature comforts of home (we stayed in the Golden Emperor) "

"We stayed in cabin 17. it was cute and in a great spot within the bush camp grounds. loved the wildlife all around, the creek running through and waking to the sounds of birds each morning. the lady at the reception was very friendly and helpful. would recommend this place as a great rustic camp ground (even though we stayed in the cabins). nice and close to Husskinson."

"Purposely selected this property as it had 2 bedroom cabins. Unfortunately my travelling partners were unable to come, which was probably a good thing as the cabin was quite small, with a small bathroom and would've been very tight with 3 of us. During the first evening there was a cricket invasion, that appeared to access via the sliding door track. & both doors were closed. Aside from the compact size the cabin was generally comfortable. "The property was clean and the location perfect. Some suggestions to make the stay even more comfortable. Shear curtains to have some privacy as the blockout ones are great for sleeping but during the day useless . The balcony is great but a divider would make it even better. If guests from one room is using it the other room is avoiding it. No lights above the bed for readying. But we did enjoy our stay"
