I requested a different room, and when I got to the different room, it smelt as if I was in a nursing home. So, I went back to the original room and dealt with it. 「Well We arrived at 12am due to our plane! But when checking in, the staff told us that someone named George accidentally checked someone in under my name…😀 so we had to stay in another room. But they gave us free pizza from That little section and water so I guess a plus? And I wouldn’t stay here more than a day! The place looked old and run down. THANK GOD it was only for one night」

「We often stay at this hotel when we come to Jacksonville because the experience is normally good. The only issue we had this time was acquiring more towels. They gave us the run around about towels and wash cloths, they only offered two of each but there was three of us in a room. I over heard a staff member discussing the matter, but she seemed to be talking poorly about our request. Besides that the room works well and is great for short term stay.」

「For a premier location and price this Hampton was a huge disappointment. Room was old, worn out, sink and tub did not drain well, kitchen area was old, dishwasher was falling out of the cabinet, and hallways looked like something out of the ‘80s. I’ve stayed in dozens and dozens of Hampton Inns over my work career, but this place ranks as the worst. Location is amazing on Centre Street where all the action is, but take my advice and find another hotel or inn.」

"I had a pleasant stay overall. The young front desk guy with curly hair was not only handsome but also extremely kind — truly six-star service! I wasn’t feeling well when I arrived, and he allowed me to check in early, which I really appreciated. The hotel was clean and comfortable, definitely worth five stars. The only downside was the service from housekeeping. Just as I entered the room and was about to shower, someone knocked loudly and impatiently on the door. Even after I said “just a second,” they kept knocking. When I opened the door, the person said something I couldn’t catch and left. Later, I called to request extra towels — it took two calls, and when they finally arrived, the staff knocked just as rudely again. Still, thanks to the great front desk service and clean room, it was a mostly good experience."
