"Nice spacious room a minute or so walk away from the main Tembo hotel (where check in and all facilities are located) Hotel has very nice pools and is directly on the beach. The area of the beach is a busy area with many of the small boats boarding passengers arriving/departing for day trips. If you intend to visit the Tortoise Sanctuary on prison island, you couldn’t be better located. The Freddie Mercury museum is also a 2 min walk away. "The hotel is very rustic and feels like it fits within the ambience of Zanzibar. located right on the white sands next to the Indian Ocean with restaurants nearby, that are accessible by walking along the beach. The owners and staff were so welcoming and truly lovely people. The hotel is of a size where you get to know the staff and they know you. Highly recommend it....."

"This property itself was beautiful. Our room had two stories, and our room upstairs opened up to the restaurant, and the beautiful rooftop view. The staff here were so nice and helped us to plan everything we wanted to do. Also, the location of this place is very convenient, very close and walkable distance to the night food market, and different historic locations in Stonetown. We loved our stay here and will definitely go back. Only complaint we had was that the drain in the shower went down...
