"The theatre staff across the road were very noisy at night- maybe moving sets? It would have been nice to have a microwave in the room. Otherwise great location and very comfortable"

"The rooms are good size and relatively clean but noisie all the doors have self closes that all squeak loudly the car park is a bit of a hill climb and we’re a bit to much for a few who smashed into obstacles one person fell down the stairs and broke his arm so be careful lots of them "

"A lovely old building. We had the spa bath room. Next time I’ll ditch the bath and ask for a room with a view. Check in person was lovely and competent. Room was clean and nice, not modern but that’s ok we knew that when booking. I would say to anyone who has mobility issues to be aware it is positioned at the top of a steep hill… so if you’re planning to walk to shops etc you will need to have reasonable fitness to get up and down the stairs or pathways. "

"I had a nice view from my window over a park and some parts of town. It was within walking distance of the main part of town and other tourist areas. I went for breakfast around 8.30 and found that there were not a lot of choices for the continental breakfast. I also had to ask for a bowl and spoon, few cups left and food not replenished."
