"The facilities could be more updated for a 5 star hotel. Service was great. Alcoholic drinks need to be stronger - it tasted non alcoholic unless you asked for "stronger"."

"We enjoyed our stay at the Le Mersenne and loved the detail and design of the room. Well appointed. The service was great, location is close to Paje Beach and the Treehouse Restaurant but also far from Stone Town and other popular beaches so plan to either book a driver or rent a car. We booked a scooter thru the hotel and traveled to Paje. DJ played great music at the hotel. We loved the vibe! With that said, a few things to be noted … Limited food options and we grew bored of the pricey...

"A truly magical holiday with great attentive staff, Nitin and his team really looked after us. The resort is set in a very natural surrounding and there is lots of opportunity to catch the wildlife in action (including cheeky monkeys!). "If you are on business trip or leisure and you want to be close to city and airport this is ideal location. The rooms are huge and very cozy. All rooms have Sea View and it has number of small boats for rent... like for fishing etc. Over the weekend there is waterpark which comes to life and it is amazing."

"Our stay here was amazing! Beautiful resort and staff. Everyone is so nice and friendly. The buffet style food was fresh and good. The rooms were clean and kept cool. We enjoyed the outdoor shower. Great views for pictures and videos if you’re a content creator or just enjoy doing so. I would definitely recommend this resort. "

"Great facilities, very nice staff, various new food every day. The only remark is the beach which witnesses a very high tide, so swimming is impossible in the morning till around 2PM. But you can use this time to visit the island. Other than that, everyone is helpful and attends to your needs. Definitely recommend."

"This is an idyllic, quiet, adults only hotel. The rooms are lovely and modern with air conditioning. The staff are super friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet is excellent and the 4 course a La carte dinner is outstanding with lots of choice and variety. The location is right on the white Sandy beach with lots of bars and restaurants within walking distance. I would definitely recommend. "
