"The resort itself was really nice and the beach was pretty clean considering the seaweed issue they were having. The food was good and the buffets had good options of different foods, they could work on adding more fruit and dessert options though. Issues I had were the room we booked was not a renovated room even though the pictures on the booking showed that so we had to change rooms once we got there. We also requested an ocean view room and didn't get any view at all. Making reservations for dinner was almost impossible. Many places were saying they were fully booked when half of the restaurant was empty. Also they were not open every day so that made reservations harder. They also make you reserve by person and not room so a table that can sit two people sometimes would only let you reserve for one. Who wants to eat alone on vacation? The hospitality of the employees was poor. Many gave attitudes from simple requests like changing a table or exchanging beach towels or ordering food in the restaurants. In the buffets there were dishes that would stand empty and they wouldn't replace them or refill them until you requested it. Was somewhat disappointed with this booking since when I searched reviews for it many people said it was a great place but that is not what I experienced. "

"Understaffed. Low quality of alcohol. It is not kids friendly the nicest and central located amenities were for adults only. Had so many available day beds but at the family pools so crowded and no day beds. Beach is small and lots, tons of sea weed, workers start cleaning at a third day of our stay with bare hands the dont have heavy machinery to clean it all fast. The smell coming from the beach was horrible. On 5he beach they have justabout 5 palapas with day beds for families and they have about 10 palapas for adults. Also you can not make reservations at the restaurants for dinner what makes your evenings hit or miss. Guests are all walking form one restaurant to another to get seated or get on the list to couple of them. I am not coming back for sure. The only good thing are the renovated, large rooms."

"This is a well maintained older hotel with a nice pool. Staff were excellent with cleaning and maintenance. The website should be updated to show they don’t have a restaurant working, only the beach bikini place. It’s ok but don’t have a lot to choose and it can get repetitive. Staff at the beach bikini were excellent. If you don’t have a rental car it can be challenging. No pool side bar that we saw. Tony was helpful when ask about other places to eat, but all were in town. "

"This place is older but it’s got good bones and has been well taken care of it is sooooo clean and I love the charm of our villa "

"Yoga class with Ronaldo was a highlight and excellent. Swim up bar was wonderful, beach and water beautiful. Loud music til 11pm we could hear from our room kept me up at night. "

"5 star to the staff all so friendly pools were great with plenty of lounge chairs clean and well maintained resort not a fan of the loud music/dance/foam/theme parties until 10pm or 1 am another negative was the availability of a la carte restaurants overall it was a great vacation"

"Room was clean, bed was comfortable. There are no elevators so you will have to climb stairs if not on first floor. Pools are on smaller size, you can take trolley to all other resorts to use amenities and restaurants. "
