"We checked in with friends and were horrified to find a dusgusting property that reeked of mold, had disgusting things in the refridgerator such as someone’s needles and dirty kitchen drawers. "- Excellent customer service - Good options for food - More if a relaxed vibe than a party setting - Lots of beautiful wild life to observe. - Need more guest entertainment/evening shows - Lower room I was first given had an overwhelming mold smell and I had to be moved. Moved to a nicer upper unit and they were kind about it but if you smell mold, move. They tried to tell me it was normal but started to feel sick when in the room. - I would still 100% go back back because of the beauty of the resort, the variety of food and restaurants and the great customer care while there - If you can book directly with the resort as its cheaper than expedia packages and you get VIP access."

"Secrets was clean, staff were very helpful and friendly, the pools were beautiful and there was always entertainment happening. The quiet pool was calm and relaxing if you wanted a more serene setting. The food was great and we never had to wait long at the restaurants. And if you are looking for a a late night the DJ in the lounge was so much fun! Great place for couples to relax and reconnect."

"Great property. Enough beach and pool chairs. Room was well thought out, great view of ocean. Steamer in room instead of iron was a nice touch. Alcohol was too shelf and drinks were amazing. We are at all the restaurants for dinner. No problem if you tried to eat before 7. Loved no reservations. Great stay, would go back in a heartbeat."

Del Sol Beachfront Hotel and Condos

"We stayed on the main floor and it feels like it’s our own house on the beach. Luckily no one was around so it feels very nice and private. The 3 bedrooms with their own bathrooms were wonderful for layout and the common rooms of kitchen/living room and dining room were great for all of us to spend time together. The beach view was wonderful but the sargassum just ruined the experience as we couldn’t use the beach at all as there was so much weeds on shore and in water despite the staff hauling and spraying for the bad smell that gets more noticeable toward the end of the day. The other things that need improvements are: softer mattresses as they are way too hard, same with the hard cushions in the living room. Better maps as we couldn’t understand in middle of night why we were in another building two buildings away from the main one. It took us over half an hour to figure it out. Otherwise the knives are all dull but kitchen was well equipped for us to make family meals together. The staff is wonderful and responsive to our needs. They clean the condo every two days. Very attentive. The location feels safe and private. It is however at least 1km from the Tsuuk Nature Park. And there are no free beaches except in front of the condo. We luckily had a vehicle so we were able to visit nearby cenotes, Yal ku lagoon, Xel-Ha etc… lots of things to do besides the beach…"
