Alabama Winery Hotel

"Had an upgrade to beach view for my honeymoon. The room was clean and the view was amazing, couldn't ask for anything better. The staff were great and made sure our stay was amazing. The pool was clean with plenty of seating. The beach access was awesome. Overall had a great stay and would definitely recommend it to other and also come back to this hotel in the future."

"The lobby had a weird smell and the room had signs of water damage. It was otherwise clean. Not a bad experience, but will not be booking again. The free breakfast was the only perk that separated Sleep In from other similarly priced hotels in the area."

"The hotel was what I expected for the price. No disappointments there. The bar, on the other hand was a totally different story. I was there with three other couples for a medical school graduation for two of our children. My wife’s ex-husband and wife made it to the bar and so did the brides family. The bartender would not let me open a tab for me and my wife and said they could only accommodate two tabs per table. I wasn’t even sitting at an adjacent table. I went to the bar and she acted like it would be a problem for me to pay cash there. She asked if I wanted a glass or the bottle for the beer and I said a glass so she handed me the bottle of beer and the glass. I took my wife drink and my glass and beer to the table when I poured the beer in my glass she came by about three minutes later gave me a mean look and just took the empty bottle. Complain to the manager on duty and she never really even apologized. I know this could sound like sour grapes, but it’s not. It was already an awkward situation for me and there was no way I was going to ask my wife’s ex-husband or the parents of the bride to pay for my drinks. The manager told me I should’ve done that and then just Venmo them the money. I work in customer service and this is so extremelyUnacceptable."

"Located very close to the soccer fields. Reception staff (Anthony and others) were super friendly. Room was clean and well maintained. A/C didn’t keep the room cold enough. Breakfast was ok, lots of guests were eating and the staff had a tough time keeping up with demand and keeping the area clean."

"Excellent Overall. Beautiful suite. Nothing bad to say except garage parking attached to the Embassy suites is too pricey. The same as offsite parking? Ridiculous. Excellent breakfast."

"Staff were an absolute godsend. I was out of state for a family medical emergency. I was treated with the utmost kindness. The rest of my family also stayed at this hotel. The rooms were good size and clean. The complementary breakfast was really good. The price was good as well. Hotel was a 10 minute drive to the hospital. Lots of stores and places to eat close by. Somewhere even walking distance. I would highly recommend staying here."
