"Very nice cottage. Well stocked with all the amenities you need, including stuff for the kids. Sue was very welcoming on arrival and had even baked some brownies for us. Being on a farm also kept the kids interested with animals and a small play area. Would stay here again."

"We had a lovely 3 night stay in the Bluebell shepherds hut. The accommodation was well equipped, and beautifully decorated. We couldn't have asked for a comfier bed! The hot was an added treat and just as lovely in the drizzle!Only thing that could be improved is better Wi-Fi connection, it is there, just intermittent. Sue was a delight to be welcomed by and had we needed anything, I have no doubt we would have received it quickly."

"Lodge was really nice and clean and it was a really nice experience. However a few lights either didn't work or had no bulb in, the hall way light didn't work and when it was dark you couldn't see where you was going and the light outside the hot tub but this wasn't so bad as you had the fairy lights which gave a bit of light. Over all very nice "

"Such a beautiful and cosy cabin, hot tub at night under the stars was amazing. Perfect location to go off exploring York or some amazing country walks. Hosts are amazing and friendly. Can’t wait to go back "

"The Lodge was nice and clean and tidy and spacious, we loved the hot tub! In General a nice place, could do with a few maintenance updates, one of the single Divans have seen better days, the Shower in the Ensuite doesn't get very warm. All in all, its a very cosy lodge with some great added features a little bit of maintenace fixing this would then be an amazing break"

"Very comfortable unit in a country setting away from the congestion of York. The only negative point was that the WIFI was weak in the unit we were in. Nice, historical location. "

"We had a lovely 4 day stay at Harwood lodge.The lodge has everything you need and is very clean and comfortable.The only downside is there’s nothing much to do locally, there is a Thai restaurant at the entrance to the site and an Indian restaurant a bit further away but that’s it, shame there’s no local pub to go in that’s walkable.This lodge is perfect though if you want a peaceful break away."
