"A great location with easy access to Northumbrian Coast and great places to eat in Alnwick. Friendly staff and the room was nice and warm. However, room was dated and not as clean as you would normally expect."

"Nice large room, and quiet, although alongside A1. Bed and pillows a little too firm for my liking, and was woken at 1 am by a very noisy group of women thumping and talking loudly down the corridor - not comfortable enough to go back k to sleep again, but the noise was not the fault of the hotel. Generally a good place to stay, nice food and a decent breakfast."

"Great, friendly staff and easy to park and the room was a good size for a single. Only marked as 3/5 as room was above the kitchen extractor fans which were only turned off between 9.30 - 6.00. So if you book as a single remember the earplugs! Would happily return but maybe check booking to ensure it’s not that end of the hotel. Gluten free options well catered for at breakfast but evening options are limited."

"Entrance to car park is very narrow if you have a big car. Front door closed at 10pm so would have to access from rear of property up steep stairs to fire exit and enter with fob. We were back by 9:45pm and we could not buy a drink as last orders had been called 🙁. But clean, comfortable room and central so would stay again for price."

"Perfect location to enjoy Alnwick and the surrounding area. An incredibly short work (30 seconds) into the town centre but still a really quiet location. The house was lovely and clean, with lost of space for a family of 4. First time visitors to Northumberland, we loved seeing the puffins on the Farne Islands and Alnwick was the perfect base with so many places to eat in the evening, we will be back."
