“Amazing hotel, one of the best we have stayed at in the UK. The decor throughout was lovely including the bar area which we thoroughly enjoyed using in the evening. Monday night was especially good with an open mic night. It was fascinating to listen to all the musicians and lovely to meet such a friendly group of people. Breakfast was excellent and all the staff were very helpful and friendly. The position of the hotel is ideal for the beach and the town. We will definitely stay here again when……

“After a long day of emptying a property, we were looking forward to getting to our room and winding down for the night. Upon arrival into the room, it was like an oven opening up the door. It was 30-degree heat outside, and not one window had been left open to help ventilate or keep the room cool. We had to open our main door to try and let some air enter the room as it was absolutely unbearable to stay in there. Then it was time for a shower. “Lovely accommodation in a pretty, quiet village. Pub closed on Mondays and Tuesdays, so needed to drive or a 20 minute walk to find somewhere to eat. There is a nice village shop across the road. The pub breakfast and dinner were both good on Wednesday. Tbh it was really nice to be somewhere so quiet and peaceful and it seems many restaurants are closed on Mondays and Tuesdays in IOW. Would recommend, especially if you have a car. Owners helpful and easily reached on Whatsapp. Good walks nearby.”

“Room was much bigger than expected (possibly an upgrade) and seemed to have been recently renovated. Spotlessly clean and comfortable bed. Breakfast was included although my invoice stated room only. Apparently all rooms here include breakfast which was very good. Highlight really was the friendliness of staff which is probably because it’s an independent property and they genuinely want to make guests feel welcome. ”

Our room was spacious (family room with a queen bed and bunk beds for our 2 children was a dream for them) and had great amenities.
