A gentle stroll brings you to Grasmere, a traditional village with many romantic and poetic connections and still as inspiring today as it was for Wordsworth himself. Local attractions include the Wordsworth Museum, a very accessible walk around the Lake, a well-stocked garden centre and of course, the famous Grasmere Gingerbread - who could resist?

Built in the late 1800s, Roundhill Cottages 1 is a traditional slate cottage suitable for the smaller family. Cosy evenings can be spent in front of the open fire whilst a leisurely dinner can be enjoyed whilst taking in super views over the surrounding fell range.
