“Needed more stop bys for house keeping, trash builds up quickly. Whoever designed the tub/shower arrangement was incompetent. I am average height and the shower head height was at the middle of my chest. A little more information about how to use equipment (ie the combo washer/dryer for us from North America) would also be handy. Check in was problematic, receptionist called in sick and nobody answered the supposed 24/7 emergency number. But to give the property credit, great location for……

“The apartment was great! It was very clean and comfortable. Staff was fantastic! They made check-in very easy for us. Beware! The area around the apartment is rough. Lots of disruptions and loud parties all through the night. Didnt feel safe going out at night. Not an area for families with young kids. We had 3 adultish children and it was still rough.”

“As other reviewers state, the windows barely open and it can get hot in the unit. The bed was comfortable, and there was enough space/seating for us. It is 2 blocks from the Kings Theatre, and 1 block from sauchiehall St. - very convenient The bathroom had a heated drying rack - very nice Coordinating the entry into the building and unit wasn't straightforward, so that is the reduced "Communication" rating. “As advertised Patrick’s home is right on the water. It was great seeing Dolphins playing in the morning. We took the ferry with our car and it was great. The house was spacious and very clean. It takes a bit to get the various European electrical devises figured out but we managed well. The hiking in the area was fabulous. Pucks Glen is a must see for anyone. It is truly one of the most beautiful places I have ever been.”

“This property is a dump!! When we arrived it had not been cleaned from the previous rental. It is in a run down neighborhood in a run down building with many steps from the street to the unit. The bathroom was in poor condition aside from the cleanliness issue. Find something else, you have been warned!!”

Communication with owner perfect - especially when we managed to accidentally lock ourselves out, eek! - thanks for your kindness Mike. Surrounding areas fantastic for dog walks - Pucks Glen, Benmore, Ardentinny all highlights for us. Kilmun arboretum just a few steps along the road also well worth a visit. “The hotel was fantastic. View was amazing staff were friendly. Breakfast was plentiful and we had great walking paths all the way to the next town. I would say the only downside is there was no dedicated parking for hotel guests so when the park is busy you may not have parking for your car. The other downside is that the motor sports on the Loch are quite noisy and continue into the night hours.”
