"A very nice apartment, with everything you need. Supermarkt nearby. In 5 minutes by car you are in Balloch for the beautiful scenery of Loch Lomond, and a good meal. We did the Balloch Castle walk, great views over Loch Lomond. Interaction with the owner 👍"

"I'm a single dad with two young boys. Our rental car blew a tire on a dangerous road a half an hour away from our stay. My international phone service wasn't connecting to the roadside assistance and we were stranded. I didn't know who else to call but our VRBO host. They took very good care of us. They got a taxi range for us and talk to my car rental company. Without their help it would have been a long long night. Very friendly. The place itself is cozy and reasonably close to the airport. "Previous reviews of this property are very accurate. The lack of a working shower is a setback for this rental. Other properties have the same shower mechanism, but this one does not work to combine cold and hot water properly and should be replaced. The kitchen also did not have any decent pans to make breakfast. They are all scratched. No one will pack a cast iron pan. So, a small investment in the place will go a long way here. Cleanliness was good but could be improved overall. Not bad, just...

"This visit was all about returning to a well loved area. The cottage was the perfect spot, with good sized comfortable rooms which let in the beautiful outdoors and lots of light. A well stocked kitchen made food preparation easy. Most importantly, the Clyde was there in all its glory."

"Quaint little cosy cottage, equipped with everything you need. Wifi good, heating good, wood burning stove just lovely in the evening. Communication with owner perfect - especially when we managed to accidentally lock ourselves out, eek! - thanks for your kindness Mike. Surrounding areas fantastic for dog walks - Pucks Glen, Benmore, Ardentinny all highlights for us. Kilmun arboretum just a few steps along the road also well worth a visit.
