When I read the reviews and reviewed the price I was a little skeptical however Rahul at the front desk was very pleasant and showed us a true southern welcome. It was not the best spot in town of course but his welcome made it the most pleasured. It was tucked away (the property) but close to everything. The room was not the “most” sanitized but it def gave a safe place to lay our head. "

There is lots of options to eat around the area, and it’s fairly secluded near lots of other hotels. it’s easy to find right off the highway A good central location if you are vacationing in Charleston. Having access to a full kitchen helps save money on eating out. I would recommend if your trip is 3 days"

"We really enjoyed our stay at The Iris. We stayed in a superior suite which was bright and light and with all that we needed for four nights. It turned out we were in a great area with lots of delicious dining options and a short walk from King Street which is the Main Street in Charleston. We walked everywhere. We would totally recommend and would come back if we visit Charleston again. "
