“The Ronebhal Guest House was amazing from the view out our room window to the wonderful shower!! There were many special touches too, like bathrobes and snacks. We even saw seals and otters out the window while enjoying a little scotch and were able to sleep so well!! Additionally, the owners were so sweet!! We would definitely stay there anytime we are in the area!!”

“Wonderful hosts whom made us a late request dinner. Rooms were clean and neat and everything was well decorated and functioning. A very nice breakfast as well. A minute to the ferry to Isle of Mull giving plenty of time for a day exploring Duart castle and Tobermorey. Highly recommend!”

“Lovely views of Loch Awe. The driver wasn’t so happy about the long single track road but the other two enjoyed the solitude and quiet at the end of the road. Rooms are comfortable and all different.”

“Really liked the staff who went above and beyond and my lamb meal at the restaurant was my favorite meal in Scotland. Enjoyed the room’s back patio and walking along the creek. It looked like some rooms were getting updates and they are needed…that is the area that needs improvement with the rooms being very hot during the crazy hot temps and the TVs having inconsistent Channels between rooms.”

“We rented electric bikes to ride over to the castle a few miles away. The whole process was simple. We even got to relax at the pool for a little while. The staff was so accommodating and wonderful. Beds were comfy and clean. Really can’t complain.”

“Our room was beautiful, cozy, clean, and we'll decorated. The staff were so nice and accommodating despite a flight change that left us checking in late and very hungry. They made us sandwiches and we're so kind. The location is wonderful and the property grounds are nice. Excellent breakfast. The continental was very well stocked and the menu items were delicious.”

“Clean well decorated in antique style. breakfast served in a bag in the fridge 2 yoghurts 2 bananas 2 coisants 2 cereal bars and 2 baby bell cheeses. Stairs a little steep but not too bad. 5 minutes walk into Oban. Bed was comfy and huge pillows which I loved”

Our hostess started us off in the morning with a delightful breakfast, good cup of coffee and good advice or directions to our days activities. She made sure we enjoyed ourselves. The bonus was the view from the property was gorgeous.”
