"We had a great week. The house was perfect for our needs. Everyone was very comfortable and felt like they had their own space. It was so nice to have the yard to play games and sit around the fire at night. We were able to use the bikes they provided to ride around. It was so nice to be able to walk to the harbor and the restaurant. It was such a beautiful area."

"Our two week stay with a 25lbs dog was delightful and refreshing. All the essentials were at hand, and Aaron and family were friendly, helpful, and tremendous sources of information for local flare. Would happily stay again at Lighthouse Cabins for all the trails, fun, and activities available on MDI!"

"We had a wonderful 3 weeks at Fiona’s cottage. It was bright, clean and super comfortable. The kitchen was supplied sufficiently to allow for several meals cooked in. The location was minutes to our favorite spots including Sw Harbor, Seawall and Little Long pond. Would definitely stay there again."

"Lovely, fresh, and cozy place. Loved the hot tub, the deck was beautiful and I wish we had time to use the nice fire pit surrounded by the trees. Beds were comfortable and showers great. The TV is quite high and due to space the couches are not set back enough. I’m not sure with the space if you could improve it much. We got used to it. It was a great place to unwind after exploring the park and the lighthouse and seawall are just around the corner."

"We absolutely loved this house in Bass Harbor. We were there with our daughter, son-in-law and 3-year old granddaughter. Our granddaughter loved the double bunk bed room and loved climbing the ladders (with supervision). The kitchen is extremely well equipped. The adjacent dining room is large and convenient. We loved the transitions between the rooms with half walls and white painted woodwork. We spent time on the front porch and back deck. We had great weather while we were there and enjoyed sleeping with open windows. All 5 of us agreed that when we come back to Mount Desert Island, we’d like to stay here again."
