"The property was terrific & in a great location. The restaurant was wonderful too as was the parking. It would have been nice to have a vending area where bottled water could be purchased late at night instead of having to walk to the gas station or grocery store."

"The room was quite clean & the staff were very friendly & nice. Natale & other office staff were very welcoming & helpful. Great location - It’s walking distance to the downtown & a quick drive to the Acadia National Park. Suggestion - I would say they need to replace the two mattresses in the room we stayed in. They were very soft & kinda sinking in the middle & my sleep was impacted because of it."

"Hotel was nice with pretty water views, nice pool, 24 hour coffee in lobby and free breakfast very close to downtown. Rooms were well equipped. The Free Trolley system only adds to the hotel experience. It drops you off in the center of town for shopping, whale watching, boat trips, restaurants and other sponsored events plus has Sand Beach in Acadia stops. Between them both a relaxing place to stay and so helpful to make enjoying Bar Harbor stress free."

Terramor Outdoor Resort

Terramor Outdoor Resort

8/10 Good
"The place is lovely, the tents, the fireplace, the main lodge, everything is curated to the finest detail. Fantastic experience next to Acadia National Park. The staff was very helpful as well. The mattresses weren’t the most comfortable since you can feel the rods used to warm them up in winter. Must be very practical in winter, when a heated mattress is a great feature, but it made it pretty uncomfortable for us. Breakfast is simple but nice and complete, and it includes gluten-free options. I’d add that since the tent walls are thin, and ours was located right next to the main lodge and a shared fire pit, it was quite loud and noisy, especially during the evening, which broke the magic of the tent experience in such a beautiful place. I guess we were unlucky with our tent’s location, but when you’re paying that much money, you pay attention to these type of things… Overall, it is a beautiful place and I would recommend staying here."
