「Lovely stay in centre of village . Room was comfy and spotless with all expected ammenites , Only snag was our view was a wall and not the gorgeous views offered elsewhere. Breakfast was tasty but heads up its a hot / cold buffet . Car parking on site is practically impossible but main seahouses carpark just over the road at a cost of 10 pound for 24 hours . This we learnt could be refunded at hotel if you give in your ticket but as required parking up after leaving carpark was a hassel so...

「Beautiful hotel, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Our room was stunning with a great view of the garden complete with baby rabbits munching on the flowers. Food was great and so was the service. The grounds are lovely for a walk.」

「We had a wonderful one night stay in Bamburgh at Hillcrest House B&B. The room was spacious and had a lovely view. The potted lobster is only a couple of minutes walk away and very tasty. The castle and beach are easy walking distance too. Good communication from Mark before the stay and cracking breakfast cooked by Malcolm in the morning. Highly recommend. Thank you 😊」

「I travelled up from London and needed somewhere to stay close to Bamburgh castle. I booked Purdy Lodge. It was close to everywhere I wanted to visit. The hotel is lovely and clean and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. The rooms were very clean and comfortable with lovely views of the countryside and Bamburgh castle. The food in the restaurant was amazing. I have no complaints at all with my stay at Purdy Lodge and will definitely stay again the next time I come to Bamburgh. 」

Really friendly hosts nothing was too much trouble and one of the best breakfasts we have ever had. EV charging is not a problem either. All in all, perfect hosts and a perfect weekend break.」
