“Great location, ideal for parking. Room was adequate and bathroom was more modern than room. Breakfast was very good….. self service buffet. No issues. Thank you”

“Peter's service at check in and bar service was warm and welcoming”

“The facility was lovely, the staff, friendly and professional. Our room was just right. It was all very pleasant and we would certainly stay here again.”

“Cosy and clean. Very good Indian food and very good Scottish breakfast.”

“This place was simply amazing. One of the best places we’ve ever stayed at. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. It’s a very easy pleasant and short walk right to the heart of town. Would definitely highly recommend staying here to anybody.”

“No issues with this amazing place, host so helpful and available anytime, couldn't fault it in anyway, would recommend 100%”

“There is no staff present and the hosts don't reply when you email them. The rooms are cozy and clean but not sound proof. Breakfast is provided along with fresh eggs but there's no way to cook them other than in a microwave. The bathroom has a tub and a handheld shower, impossible for anyone to shower without wetting the entire bathroom. The bathroom sink is little more than a birdbath. No fan or ventilation other than opening the front door.”

“We stayed for 2 nights & loved it! Such friendly staff, the food was delicious, the bed was comfortable & we had a great time! Our server at breakfast was so funny & chatty which we enjoyed. Breakfast was probably the best cooked full Scottish I’ve had in a long time. We would definitely go back. I’d say just as an fyi that the bar does get busy so book a table if you’re eating lunch or dinner there. Also, the music in the bar doesn’t stop until 11pm so we could hear it from our room but it……

“Verandah for breakfast and dinner bit understaffed. Long wait for wine and meal. 1 hour after ordering. Meal a bit underwhelming. Long wait for bread tea and coffee at breakfast Stags head bar very efficient”

“Fantastic stay! Charming and super clean. Highly recommend”

“Beautiful place and setting. I wish we could have stayed here longer!”

“Beautiful location and exceptional clean property, bit vintage look but very appropriate for such a stay. Very kind and attentive owner. All over very pleasant stay, definitely would stay again Little poor breakfast choice for vegetarian”

“This exquisite hotel, the great food and drink and the hospitality of the owners set a new standard for excellence. Not a detail is overlooked. Our new favorite home away from home!”

“The hotel doesn’t have an elevator. I stayed on the first floor. Actually, there is a corridor between the first floor and the carpark with a few steps only. However, the receptionist didn’t told me about that. She simply told me to carry the luggages through the normal entrance and go up one floor “ONLY” . No help had been offered and she clearly knew I got a car. Nowadays, it is not usual asking the lady customers to carry the luggages going upstairs ”

“It’s very wonderful and nicely staying in pine tree hotel.”
