"Great place to stay and relax"

"The only thing that I had real issue with was the Goosefeather. I had dinner there Thursday night, and it was fine. Why? Because there were only a handful people having dinner there as well. Friday night, I tried to have dinner there, and I was told that there were no tables available (or bar seats for that matter) all night. They did not suggest any solutions and brushed me off. The hostesses were rude. Then I asked the front desk if I could have food delivered from there, and they said yes. I went back to order food (the food is exensive enough to begin with, and then they added tip (which i didn't realze until later and I added a tip as well) as well as 10 dollar delivery charge. I said nothing, and ordered the food. It arrived moments later in a paper bag, and each course was in a cardboard box. IF I ever go back to this hotel, I will never set foot in Goosefeather again. This hotel is not friendly to people coming from a big city solo who do not drive car, and they only have the one restaurant (and place for breakfast which was NICE). So IU warn anyone in a similar situation from staying at this hotel. The rooms were reasonable, but constantly going into town by taxi to eat somewhere else or eating at the Goosefeather really adds up and wouldn't necessarily be a good experience for the solo traveler. Isn't our money as good as anyone else/s???"

"We stayed at the cottages which were clean and welcoming. The only thing to keep in mind is that the common area IS common, so if you don’t want to socialize, it might not be the space for you. We had a party with us that all knew each other (and we were the only room who didn’t) and they hung out there all night talking. Not a fault of the property, but maybe stay in the main inn if you’re looking for a little more privacy."

"For the second time during this month ....Stuff is not professional at all...... not smiley faces not happy people. They are very tuff ....,while taking breakfast I was hit by the door from on of the stuff .... he didn't even apologize ......will never stay in this property again as I was planning to stay weekly but people are not friendly !!!"

"I previously booked 2 rooms in 2025 and the stay was perfect. I just checked out of my 2 rooms and received a bill for parking ($10 per day per room)?!!! This is not noted anywhere when reserving on line and I never paid previously. Parking our cars at your hotel should be included....absolutely ridiculous. When complaint was made the woman was rude but eventually reversed the charge. I will not be staying here ever again"
