「The Cedar Hill Lodge was great for our party of 5 people for a one night stay. We were wanting a place to stay after crossing the Mackinac Bridge. This was a lovely newly renovated resort with lots of amenities. We stayed in room 252 which was in the Spruce building. We had the room with multiple beds and a balcony. The room was large, comfortable, clean, and worked perfect for us! The bathroom was clean and in good condition. The sink is outside of the bathroom which was very convenient for us...

「We drove up and knew right away. We had picked the wrong hotel. The pool was closed and the hot tub and construction stuff all around it. It just looked awful. The room was OK but nothing spectacular. The beach was horrendous and not even worth walking on. We were supposed to say for three days and only stayed one night and left the next day and was not issued any refund, stay away!」

「The hotel is not well maintained and there does not seem to be any urgency to picking up garbage from around the hotels vicinity. The interior is extremely outdated and needs a lot of love. We didn't see a single staff member except for a front desk person. The outdoor pool is a great idea but definitely needs work and requires a good cleaning. You can't see the bottom of the pool. The best part is the location to restaurants, shops, and beach.」

「Loved our stay over the 4th of July. Very clean pool area and all the grounds. Nice view of Lake Michigan from our room and the bridge from the front where we sat on the Adirondack chairs. Helpful staff when our TV was not working properly. Highly recommend and would stay there again if we return.」
