“I had a wonderful stay at Dar Drissi. The service was exceptional from the start. The hosts arranged someone to meet me at the airport, and once we arrived in the Medina, another kind person carried my luggage and guided me through the winding streets to the riad. “I have stayed in quite many different hotels and this Riad is one of the best accommodations I have ever experienced. After a long trip from Sahara desert, I was stunned by the serene vibe of this Riad and had a refreshing shower here. “The location of the riad is ideal - close to the excitement of the Medina, yet just outside the noise and bustle of the streets. The property is exquisite and the rooms large and comfortable. The pool is both beautiful and refreshing. The staff, however, is where this riad excels. Fati, Yasmin, and Nasir are exceptional and always available to help. “Riad Semlalia is a true oasis in the middle of the bustling Fes medina, with stunning rooms and inner courtyard, beautiful rooftop terrace with a pool, and the best breakfast we had in Morroco. “My family of 4 (two kids) had a lovely stay at this property! The accommodation is beautiful and the staff is very warm and helpful. They arranged a day trip for us to Meknes and Volubilis, and amended our breakfast based on what our kids preferred. Highly recommend the stay. Be prepared for a walk to the riad that involves a number of small alleys that might seem creepy at first but you get used to it quickly.”
