「We really enjoyed our stay at The George. It was authentic, absolutely clean as a whistle and the staff were incredibly helpful and nice. It is an authentic old inn so there were some creaky floors but it fine for us. The staff and the food were amazing. I would stay here again.」

「We would not have booked here if we had known the Saturday breakfast was 9am to 10am.
There is no information about breakfast times on the booking process.
The TV was totally unusable as I do not have a modern PhD. I simply could not understand all this internet stuff.
The Wifi speed was slow, less than 1mbps.
Besides that, clean comfortable room, excellent real beer in the bar.」

「Devonshire House was clean and well maintained. The bedroom was roomy and clean as was the ensuite. Plenty of tea and coffee and extra left in the communal lounge if required.
Could have done with extra towels, only a bath sheet per person and one hand towel, could have done with one smaller towel per person for after washing your hair..minor criticism and we did manage by sharing the hand towel..
Chris was very friendly and helpful. We took his advice and went on the FREE walking tour around...
