A lovely warm bungalow, very well equipped.

A lovely warm bungalow, very well equipped. I’d imagine if warmer garden great to sit in. As previous stated, shower not good for people with mobility issues. Could I suggest a frame to go around toilet would be useful to have in, could be stored in garage when not needed.

Parents Weekend Away

Overall the propety was good, lots of space, however, it was marketed as disabled friendly but there were a couple of things that could be improved upon. There were 2 steps up to the main entrance & we didn't know there was a portable ramp until we explored the garage. The back door was disabled friendly but we weren't told where the key was, I just happened to find it in a bowl on the shelf in the kitchen. The downstairs bathroom was sort of kitted out to be a wet room but it actually had quite a small shower cubicle in the corner with a very low shower, please either make it into a wet room or have a larger shower cubicle. It would benefit from grab rails for the toilet & a shower mat to soak up the water, we looked in the drawers & cupboards but didn't find a mat. The upstairs bathroom had a hand held shower over the bath but no shower curtain or shower mat, this was inadequate for 3 able bodied adults, especially when the downstairs bathroom was being used by 3 disabled adults, which as I have said, was also inadequate really. It would really help to have an additional downstairs toilet, there were 6 of us, the proprty sleeps 8, but given there were 3 disabled people sharing 1 bathroom and 3 able bodied sharing another bathroom, if there had been 8 of us we would have really struggled. The property overall was spacious, the kitchen was well equipped but just not really as disabled friendly as it could be.
