“**Five stars — perfect base in Como** Absolutely perfect stay. The location is right in the heart of Como, which made everything walkable — the lakefront, restaurants, shops, all just a few minutes away. Transit is a real strength here. It's an easy walk from Como San Giovanni station, and it's practically next door to Como Lago, which makes arriving and getting around genuinely effortless. The room was spotlessly clean and pleasantly modern, and — importantly for summer — the air……

“Pros- very helpful staff, excellent location, clean rooms. Elena on reception staff was excellent at helping with transport and advising on local points of interest, concierge Arriana was excellent at giving tips on local points of interest. Cons- no milk given in the rooms, kettle would be better than nespresso machine for tea drinkers. Overall a very pleasant stay with only minor recommendations. Staff cannot be faulted- they were amazing.”

“Amazing 4 night stay at the MÍMESIS 11. My girlfriend and I stayed here in June during the strong heatwave and this hotel was perfectly located. It's literally outside the ferry return stop and has a handful of bars and restaurants on the door step. Possibly the cleanest hotel I've ever stayed in. Lovely breakfast and the most helpful staff. The only minor negative was that the air conditioning is controlled by reception and ours had a fault during our stay, which meant it was a little……

“The rooms felt brand new! The staff was amazing and made our reservations and brought us espresso to our room. The pastries were fresh made on property. It was so close to the nice shops and duomo and just blocks from the water! I can’t say enough good things!”

“Extremely convenient location and clean room (bed, closet, deskwith a well-renovated bathroom (toilet, separate bidet toilet, shower, no bathtub). Staff was very helpful in enabling me to check in easily despite not there being a real staffed “front desk”. My room had a beautiful view of the plaza and you could even see the lake when you peeked over the balcony. Obviously not the b&b’s fault, but just a heads up- the one downside (to my room being plaza-facing) was that each night there……
