“Excellent location, easy self-checkin, responsive offsite staff. The room was cozy, clean, and included everything I needed. The only issue was noise - I could hear the people who checked-in above me from 5 pm till they finally went to bed a little after midnight. People seem oblivious to how easily impact noise travels in old NE construction. My room was also overlooking the parking lot and noise carried up easily from that.”

“The tv didn’t turn on at all and the bed was probably the most uncomfortable bed I’ve ever slept on. The refrigerator was filled with water from being broken. The towels were not properly cleaned as we found boogers on one of the towels. Def would not recommend a stay here. Very disappointing to say the least. ”

“They canceled my reservation within hours of me arriving. Then they wanted me to pay about 50% for a room I had already paid. Thankfully Expedia helped me but not the hotel. ”

“The staff make you feel right at home and they truly make you feel like they are happy that you chose to stay there. It makes us want to return again. Enjoyed the outdoor courtyard very much!”

“Loved our visit. Greeted with warm cookies, and plenty of goodies in the fridge. Yummy coffee which can be had at any time and relaxing seating area. Across the street are a mainstay of hotels of all types, so the choices were many and diverse. Rooms well appointed, and the beds are some of the best sleep offered. Parking on site makes lifre grand too !!!”

“We stayed in the pirate theme room and it was awesome! Just a note, inside the ship at the bottom there is literally zero air flow in there, but that is just the nature of the bed. It was so awesome. The place was super clean. The elevator is pretty far but the stair case is right by the room and it honestly wasn’t bad bring all your stuff up. The thing I want to express is how amazing the outdoor area was. We got to use the grill and the fire pits. The chairs are well maintained and……

“My daughter and I stayed at The Cabot Lodge, on 4/14/26, for an overnight stay, before a college tour at Endicott College. I originally wanted to stay at the hotel on the grounds of Endicott College, but no rooms were available. In the end, I was glad that we didn’t get a room on the college grounds. We decided on The Cabot Lodge, since it was close to the college and appeared to be located in an area that had a lot to do (walkable area). There is no parking, but municipal parking was behind……

“First time going to Salem as an adult. Was greeted by friendly staff who assured us we would not be haunted. Lol! Beautiful hotel with great history. We enjoyed a cocktail while listening to a piano duo. Will definitely be back there again.”

“The room was great- exactly as described. The gentleman owner was kind - lived on the premises and spent a lot of our stay mowing the lawn and working in the gardens. Would be a bit uncomfortable for femme people traveling alone, but a good set up for people looking for conversation or company. ”
