"We stayed in a 2 bedroom suite. The apartment was beautiful, clean and modern. The location was great - within walking distance to a lot of London’s main attractions. Will definitely stay again for future trips to London. "
"Hotel Xenia was the perfect place for us! Each and every team member was so polite and attentive and made you feel quite welcome. The amenities were great, and the restaurant was sharp, with excellent food! The bed and bedding were sublime and hard to get the leave and get the day going!!
HIGHLY recommend staying here! "
"Very convenient location near Earl’s Court underground station. Also walkable to restaurants and shops. Clean comfortable room and friendly staff. Tea & coffee plus fresh fruit always available in lobby which is nice if you are on the go. Only negative was the lift was not working but the staff helped me with my luggage. Would stay here again. "Wanted a room with 2 real beds, NOT a sofabed or roll-way. The Bailey's was one of the few hotels I found with this room type. Also, the option for an early check in was very attractive, since we were to arrive at 7:30 AM. The staff were all lovely and helpful. Only ate the buffet breakfast once, which was ok, but there's so many more options very nearby.
The hotel is beautiful, common areas well decorated. The room carpet is looking like it's been around a while, but everything in the room was very clean. The beds were comfortable, and the mini fridge was a bonus. Complementary bottled water, tea, and coffee in the room made mornings simpler. The bathroom toiletries were high quality (including shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand wash, and lotion -- no bar soap, so bring your own if you prefer a bar.) The location was excellent. Right across the street from the Gloucester Road station, with access to 3 lines (District, Circle, Piccadilly). It was a straight shot from Heathrow on the Piccadilly, and only cost a little over 5 pounds each. Several restaurants on the block offered a wide selection of cuisine -- everything from ramen to pub food. It was generally pretty quiet, even being on a main street.
I only have 2 complaints: 1) Only a heavy duvet was provided, so were all too hot at night and had to blast the AC. A top sheet or light blanket would have made things more comfortable and been more sustainable!
2) The bathroom lighting is deplorable. "
"The location is excellent - near the V&A and the Albert Hall and many other attractions. It is also easy to get to.
I would have appreciated free range eggs at the breakfast bar, by the way. Otherwise the food was excellent. Thankyou."
"I really liked the smallness of the hotel--the fact that it wasn't a huge chain. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable about the immediate area and provided good suggestions both walkable and via the tube to food and entertainment options. Though my room was by the elevator, it was very quiet. The hotel room was small but it had everything I needed and then some. Loved the heated towel bar and the little kitchenette and the touch of a bottle of wine on arrival was sweet. I would definitely stay at this hotel again."
"Convenient location on Circle and District Lines. Full English breakfast set us up well for the day, after comfortable night's sleep. Efficient air-conditioning
