「Room and amenities good. Loved the rooftop patio. Staff friendly. Wish it had been just a little closer to downtown, but on the bus line, so all worked out ok. 」

「This was our first time at the Ryder hotel. It was located very conveniently in downtown Charleston. The staff was very friendly however, when we were by the pool, the service there was somewhat spotty. Often times staff would just ignore anyone who was sitting at a table and not offer them a drink. The pool was nice to have on a hot day however, it was very murky and cloudy looking. Not sure how often they check for chemical balance. Both my husband and I felt very itchy after being in the pool...

「The property is GREAT...however, it took over 2 hours for the Expedia comms to reach the Vendue...so I was in limbo for dinner and had to come back to check in AFTER it took Expedia 2 hours to report my confirmation...??!!」

「Our room worked out since we were only there to sleep after visiting the French Quarter & market most of the day. The morning we were leaving a bug crawled on top of the nightstand. Location was good for the price.」

「Hotel is amazing! Cool history all around. Walking distance to historic sites, shopping and food. Only thing that was a bummer was the shower would go on and off. We were staying on the 7th floor so probably just not enough water pressure to supply the whole hotel. Other than that it was comfortable and cool!」

「The Pinckney is a small hotel but it is conveniently located near plenty of shops and restaurants also in walking distance to plenty of landmarks. The staff is willing to help in any way possible the complimentary breakfast is good. Our room was clean and cool and looked to be new renovated. 」
